At TTN Operations Ireland Limited we have no contracts or sticky terms and believe the quality, consistency, and speed of our product speaks for itself. Your risk is one month with no further obligation. In the case that you want to cancel your membership for any reason, please do so in writing no less than 7 days prior to your membership anniversary date via this link or submitted via the “Contact Us Page” directed to “Cancellation”.

This Terms of Use Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legal agreement between TTN Operations Ireland Limited (“TTN” or “Club”) and you (“You” or “User”), and this Agreement, including all amendments made to date, governs your use of the services and content (including all text, graphics, audio and video transmissions, photographs, news, statistics, and logos - the “Content”) provided on our Site (the “Services”).

If You do not agree to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, You should immediately cease all usage of the Services and the website (www.tradethenews.com - the “Site”). We reserve the right, at any time, to modify, alter, or update the terms and conditions of this Agreement without prior notice. Modifications shall become effective immediately upon being posted at the Site. Your continued use of the Services after amendments are posted constitutes an acknowledgment and acceptance of the Agreement and its modifications. Except as provided in this paragraph, this Agreement may not be amended. Please read this Agreement carefully.

TTN Operations Ireland Limited (“Trade The News” or “TTN”) is committed to protecting the privacy of the personal data and other information we collect from you while you use the TTN Network, TTN Services and the www.tradethenews.com website (the “Site”). The scope of TTN’s commitment is detailed in this Privacy Statement. By continuing to use this Site and submit information, you agree to TTN’s use of your data as described herein.

What personal data is collected?

Personal Data is a broad term but generally means any information that relates to an identifiable living individual. TTN primarily collects personal data when a User submits information for account registration purposes. The personal data collected includes but is not limited to your User ID/password, your company, professional or business affiliations, payment details (including credit/debit card numbers and billing information) and contact details (including name, address, business address, email address, phone/fax numbers).

We may also collect and process the following data about you during the course of your use of our Services:

  • if you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence;
  • details of your visits to the Site and TTN Network and the resources and webpages that you access including, without limitation, traffic data, location data and other communication data (including IP address). However we do not extract any personal information (such as an email address or name) that may be in a web browser’s user preference file;
  • technical information relating to the device that you use to access our Services;
  • information and communications on any forums that may be introduced on the Site, including chat rooms and message boards;
  • information we collect using cookies stored on your device about how you use our Services and/or selected third party websites;
  • where you communicate or share information with us or other TTN Users through forums, message boards or comments;
  • your telephone conversations, either when making enquiries regarding the products we offer or other customer service calls. These may be recorded both to assist us in training and in quality management, and to allow for the speedy resolution of queries;
  • your browsing and other account transactions. These are routinely analysed so as to assist us in improving the Services we provide to you.

You acknowledge and consent to the recording and retention of such information for these purposes.

How might your personal data be used?

The processing of your personal data is necessary for the performance of our contractual obligation to provide you with access to the TTN services.

TTN uses your personal data to contact you, fulfil your log-in requests, verify your account’s access permission, process your requests for information and other general account management. TTN will use the payment information provided to process payments for your account. TTN may keep your personal data on file and use it to contact you for marketing (including future marketing), profiling and other TTN related purposes. TTN may also use your personal data in analyzing User behaviour in order to measure interest and behaviour of Users as part of our ongoing monitoring and improvement to both the website and the services provided. TTN may use your personal data to help diagnose system problems, administer the website, carry out risk management and the detection of fraudulent or unauthorized use of the Site or TTN services.
TTN may also provide your personal data to our worldwide affiliates for the above purposes. Any such affiliates are related businesses whose business is connected to the provision of services to the www.tradethenews.com website.
TTN is aware of its legal obligations as a data controller and all data is processed in accordance with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulations which came into force on 25th May 2018, the Data Protection Act 1988, the Data Protection (Amendment) Act 2003, the EU Data Protection Directive [95/46/EC], the ePrivacy Regulations 2011 and other relevant Irish and EU legislative obligations.

 

Are cookies and IP addresses used?

The www.tradethenews.com website uses cookies to identify you and to track usage of the Site. Cookies are small pieces of text stored on your computer that help us know which browser you are using and where you have been on the Site and on websites to which you may link in order to use some of our features. Cookies also let us know whether you are a registered User and enable us to relate your current usage of the Site to prior usage of the Site. TTN will not intentionally disclose (and will take all reasonable steps to prevent the accidental disclosure of your personal data to third parties other than trusted third parties as detailed below. For the purpose of this section, a third party is any party who is not affiliated to TTN or directly involved in the administration of the Site or provision of the TTN services. TTN will not sell or otherwise provide your personal data to unconnected third parties for such third parties' own marketing or other purposes.

The above statement is however subject to the following exceptions:

  • TTN may disclose your personal data to third parties as required or permitted by law;
  • TTN may disclose your personal data to third parties who deliver information from us to you for the purpose of performing such delivery;
  • TTN may disclose your personal data if, in connection with submitting the information you consent to such disclosure;
  • TTN may disclose contact information for you in response to enquiries by bona fide rights owners in connection with allegations of infringement of copyright or other proprietary rights arising from information you have posted on the Site or otherwise provided to TTN;
  • If TTN and/or any of its affiliates or connected entities merges with or sells substantially all of its assets or a majority of its equity to a third party, information collected by TTN or such affiliates or connected entities may be disclosed to and owned by the merged entity or third party.

We may provide links to third party websites from time to time or you may connect to the TTN website via a third party website. In addition some of the content appearing on the Site may be supplied from a third party, for example in instances of framing of third party websites or incorporation through framesets of contents supplied by third party servers. We cannot control and are not responsible for information collection and privacy practices of such third party sites and these may differ from those of the Site. You are strongly encourage to familiarise yourself with the privacy statements and other terms and conditions of third party sites.

How can I access, change and/or delete information?

You may access, correct, update and/or delete any personal data you submit to the Site. You may also unsubscribe from mailing lists or any registration on the Site. To do so please contact us through the ‘Contact Us’ page.

TTN may retain your personal data following cessation of your active subscription period for marketing purposes or other legitimate retain. We shall only hold the minimum data necessary for these purposes, such as your email or other contact information. We will destroy any of your personal data which we hold but no longer need.

Where you are no longer subscribing as a User and wish to have all of your personal data deleted please contact us via the contact details below and we will arrange to have any such personal data retained by us deleted within 40 days of your deletion request.

Where you wish to access the personal data that TTN holds you may submit a Subject Access Request in writing to us via our contact details below and we will respond with a copy of the said data within a period of one month from the date of your request.

Where you make a Subject Access Request you will be required to provide proof of identity (such as copy passport or driver licence) to establish that you are the person whose personal data you are requesting. Access to personal data will only be provided to the individual concerned or to an authorised representative. TTN will respond to your request within 40 days of receipt of correctly submitted Subject Access Request, proof of identity and relevant fee.

Security

TTN takes the security of your personal data very seriously. TTN employs the most appropriate physical and technical security measures in order to protect personal data from loss, misuse, alteration or destruction and to prevent unauthorized access. These measures include staff training and awareness and a regular review of the measures implemented to ensure we adhere to best practices. Only TTN authorised personnel (including employees and contractors who have agreed to strict confidentiality clauses) are provided with access to personal data. All persons who are given access to personal data are required to treat the information as strictly confidential. Despite these precautions TTN cannot guarantee that unauthorized persons will not obtain access to your personal data.

Data Breach

Where a data breach is known or is suspected TTN will endeavour to investigate the breach as thoroughly and swiftly as is possible. Any individual whose personal data has been affected will be notified directly.

 

Accurate, complete and up-to-date data

TTN endeavors to ensure that any personal data held is accurate, complete and up-to-date. You are encouraged to update any changes to the personal information you have submitted. We may also take actions to ensure accuracy, such as contacting you by email to verify your contact details.

Data that is adequate, relevant and not excessive to requirements

TTN endeavors to limit the data held to data that is adequate, relevant and not excessive to TTN's requirements. As a data processor, TTN will not hold more data than is necessary for the purposes for which it was originally collected. TTN may therefore delete any data provided that is considered to be excessive to TTN’s needs. TTN may undertake a review of data supplied or obtained from time to time and delete any data that is either not necessary or is no longer necessary.

Your credit/debit card details will be deleted following each payment transaction unless you consent to retention of payment card details in order to facilitate future payment transactions.

Transborder hosting and transfer of information

TTN is a global organisation with employees and contractors working internationally across a number of countries including, Ireland, United Kingdom, Europe, Canada, United States of America, Brazil, Russia, Asia and Australia. Personal data and other information collected on the site may be transferred from time to time to employees and/or contractors working in offices or premises throughout the world, including offices located outside the European Economic Area. Countries outside the EEA may not have Data Protection laws comparable to those within the EEA.

The site may be viewed, hosted and accessed from anywhere in the world, including countries (such as United States of America) that may not have laws regulating the use and transfer of personally identifiable data. By using the site and submitting information on it, you voluntarily consent to such transborder transfer and hosting of such information.

Children’s on line privacy protection

TTN understands the importance of protecting children’s privacy, especially in an on-line environment. The site is not intentionally designed for or directed at persons under the age of 18 years and TTN will not directly or intentionally collect or maintain information about any person under the age of 18 years and where such information is inadvertently held it will be deleted as soon as TTN discovers the information.
